Program Volunteers

If you love kids and want to inspire them to pursue a life of health and fitness, join our team and volunteer alongside Fit Kids coaches at our program sites. This is a great opportunity for volunteers who can commit to attending 10 one-hour classes per school year. Programs are located in East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Redwood City during after-school program hours.

Junior Coach Program

(for Volunteers Ages 13–18)

Serving as a Junior Coach is a fun and rewarding way for teens (and parents) to get involved with Fit Kids and make a difference in the lives of underserved youth. You get to work directly with the children, feel a sense of accomplishment, and build excellent leadership skills with the support of your fellow coaches!

Fit Kids encourages individuals to work together to learn fitness activities, fair play and positive conflict resolution, and to teach these skills and lessons appropriately to younger children.

Special Project Volunteers 

Fit Kids often has one-time volunteer opportunities for teens and adults including office projects, equipment inventory, packing equipment bags and Friday Fitness days.
