The Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation has given Fit Kids $5,000, supporting the organization’s continued growth in bringing its structured fitness program to underserved youth in the L.A. area.
“We at the Lakers want the best for all our fans, especially the youngest ones,” said Lakers Youth Foundation Executive Director Kiesha Nix. “Fit Kids offers a fantastic program that develops healthier children, so we are proud and happy to assist Fit Kids in helping the youth of Los Angeles.”
“The Lakers Youth Foundation is a great “fit” for Fit Kids”, said Fit Kids Founder Ashley Hunter. “As one of the world’s most accomplished sports teams, the Lakers know as well as anyone the fundamental importance of fitness and being active to stay healthy!”
