The Fit Kids Foundation welcomes Former US Olympian & Olympic Gold Medalist Mark Spitz to the Fit Kids Honorary Board!
Mark has an extensive background working for youth non-profits
Mark’s achievements include being a nine-time Olympic champion and former world record holder in seven events. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Mark swam to win seven gold medals, which was an achievement that has only been surpassed once in Olympic history by Michael Phelps at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Between 1968 and 1972, Spitz won a total of nine Olympic Gold Medals, one Silver Medal, and one Bronze Medal. Mark held many more achievements during that time period, including five Pan American golds, 31 AAU titles, and eight NCAA titles. Mark also set 35 world records and was named the World Swimmer of the Year while being only the third athlete ever to win nine Olympic Gold Medals.

Mark becomes the 12th member of the Fit Kids Honorary Board and will help provide guidance to the Fit Kids Foundation with his extensive Non-Profit experience.
