Amy Wender-Hoch grew up in New York City and moved out to the Bay Area when she attended Stanford
University. After completing her bachelor degree in Psychology (from Stanford), Amy founded the Wender
Weis Foundation for Children, a non-profit organization committing to improving the self-esteem and self-confidence in children living in underserved communities. While running the Foundation, Amy earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Amy currently donates her time with the San Francisco Ballet Auxiliary and was an active volunteer in the community at places such as Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, Pets Are Wonderful Support, and the American Sports Institute. Amy is passionate about helping others and trying to make a difference. Amy lives in Palo Alto with her husband and young son.
