The foundation’s gift of $18,150 will support Fit Kids programs that impact youth in San Jose public schools.

The Oakland Athletics have committed $15,000 to Fit Kids for the coming school year, funding programs at three schools.

Fit Kids Founder Ashley Hunter phoned into the “Sports Econ 101” radio show on the Sports Byline USA network.

Fit Kids is honored to be among the recipients of more than $1.5 million donated by the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to charities serving over 1 million youth in the Los Angeles Area. “We are thrilled to have this support from the Dodgers Foundation,” said Ashley Hunter, Fit Kids Executive Director. “There is a great need for programs like Fit Kids in LA and we are grateful to the Dodgers Foundation for helping to bring Fit Kids to students at KIPP Ignite in Los Angeles.”
